Re: B&M 2019

I'd love to see anything that brings down the value of anything else . :) Seriously, toy profiteering really makes me angry. To me this hobby is all about the fun, not the profit. I'm totally with you on that! But realistically, I can't see C/O reiussing deleted/out of print sets like the Emperor D...

Re: B&M 2019

I'd love to get a Time Crash 10 with the EOT headsculpt - hell even give it a coat it would still work as both a Last of the Time Lords and a Silence in the Library variant, it would be new and dissimilar enough to the Time Crash set to make collectors happy. I've always been surprised that conside...

Re: Your Fantasy Story Packs

My three picks for fantasy story packs would be: TV Movie 3 figure set: - 8th Doctor (Coatless variant, with waistcoat & white frilled sleeves) - 7th Doctor (TV Movie version) - The Master (TV Movie version) Shada 3 figure set - 4th Doctor (chocolate coloured jacket season 16/17 variant) - Roman...

Re: 12th Doctor Head Paint Removed

I actually think the face paintwork on the recent B&M 12th Doctor figure is better than the Season 9 variants that were released in 2016. This year's B&M 12th Doctor figure seems to have a lighter layer of paint, which shows a bit more sculpt detail. Also, the eyes are not painted such a vib...

Re: B&M sets announced! 3 sets and a Tardis

The current 11th Doctor B&M figure definitely has better face paintwork than the TOTD figure. But then it was the same in 2015 with the 4th Doctor City of Death figure in the B&M set. It had much better facial detail than the original City of Death figure from 2010. It seems to be pot luck t...

Re: Your Three Pack Ideas - Repaints / Rereleases only

Given that C/O like to do repaints of existing figures for their three pack B&M releases and also that they are done on a very modest budget, here are 3 simple sets I believe are cost-effective and could be mass produced, as well as pleasing fans: 7th Doctor set 7th Doctor - 'Time and the Rani' ...

Re: B&M sets announced! 3 sets and a Tardis

I do feel that the Brig is actually the worst figure of the 1970's set. Having the miltary badges painted over the Captain Jack RAF insginia is pretty obvious and the paintwork for the Brig's eyes and moustache looks like someone used a black felt-tip. I'm lucky enough to have bought The Claws of Ax...

Re: B&M sets announced! 3 sets and a Tardis

At last! Finally managed to get a 3rd Doctor and TARDIS from the Gloucester B&M store this afternoon.

Great paintwork on the 3rd Doctor figure and the TARDIS looks so much better than the promo photos issued by Character Options.

Re: B&M sets announced! 3 sets and a Tardis

What's most disgusting is these sellers, who are in effect, no better than ticket touts at music gigs, ripping fans off. These Pertwee sets could have been bought by genuine fans who would cherish the item and put it on their shelf, rather than sell it to make a profit. I've been reasonably lucky......
