Re: General Questions Thread

To be perfectly honest, I don't consider the classic title sequences to be representative of the time vortex. Neither is Capaldi's, obviously, and following that logic most likely neither is Whitaker's. So, that would mean the vortex only changed once or twice, once after the whole Gallifrey thing,...

Re: General Questions Thread

Or perhaps it physically changes with use. Not with time, but as it is used it's form changes. I only suggest this because it's noteworthy that it's evolution is evolutionary; it changes in stages. Perhaps the vortex itself is some kind of evolving entity. Or, it has life stages like a star. I like...

Re: General Questions Thread

Here's a question: Just what is the space-time vortex? I had always thought that it was like "hyperspace" or "subspace," the space/time that exists outside of "normal" space/time where the TARDIS "goes" to travel from one point in the universe to another. But something I read once -- and damn, I wi...

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

I picked up the 7th Doctor BF set yesterday. The Axis Strike Squad Dalek has Dalek Secs name tag on it which really sucks cuz we never got the updated Sec in the UK. At first I thought it could just be they reused Sec heads but that doesnt make sense cuz Sec used a shiny black plastic. It’s because...

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

The new Dalek sets really do look great! Just a side note, has anyone else noticed that the new War Doctor's joints seem quite loose? https://i.imgur.com/FTWMfox.jpg all the joints seem loose this year, my 5th doctor especially, his mucky arm especially feels like its gonna fall off I’ve got the sa...

Re: Oddities and Errors.

Another thing I just thought of is when shots flip randomly. I can think of an example in the Satan pit when the doctors talking to the beast the shot randomly flips you can tell from his hair switching sides. The same thing happens in the eleventh hour near the end in the TARDIS. There’s also one ...

Ooh, I like this. No pictures, but the Earth in Earthshock is the same 65 million years ago as it is now.
There ya go and so it is I’ve never noticed that.
Ruined that for you
It’s another one to the list of things I can’t forget every time I rewatch
