Re: Beginners Guide : Tips & Tricks, Ask A Question

To anyone who has ever made Hartnell style roundels, I did the conversion of the actual measurements (supposedly the 5.5 inch range is 1/13th scale) and that comes out with a roundel diameter of nearly 2 inches, which seems excessive. Anyone got any guidance for this?

Interesting video from a guy who makes custom TARDISes. He also designed the actual 5.5 inch CO classic TARDISes, and in this video he explains why they turned out the way they did, and compares them to his custom.

Ask CO, they do it enough

Oooooh burn.

Seriously though, If the boil and pop method doesn't work, i suspect it would be a torso crack job (my guide on that should still be around here somewhere).

Ok I have no idea where you heard that, i've seen lots of false claims with no evidence being thrown around recently. There will be an SDCC panel though so it might drop then.

Re: B&M sets announced! 3 sets and a Tardis

I've read elsewhere that just like the original images (back on page 2 of this thread) these are pre-production mock-ups and the finished figures will have refinements, so fingers crossed these are just broad concepts rather than definitive approaches and we'll gets shoes on the Doctor and a shorte...

Re: B&M sets announced! 3 sets and a Tardis

To my eyes it looks like the shoes painted glossy black while the pants are painted gray? Yeah I can see two distinct colours too. Glossy black and grey... I hope Skiffle and I aren't insane. Oh, I'm definitely insane, but I also see the shoes painted differently from the pants. :) The problem is t...

Yeah this really confuses me too. It's like the Sontaran Experiment waistcoat thing again - changing things they already have for no reason.

Re: B&M sets announced! 3 sets and a Tardis

If they were to do Daleks, I wouldn't mind if they made the gold Children of the Revolution Daleks that they did for the 3.75s (maybe they could even do the purple ones?). Those classic coloured NSDs would be nice too, although i'm not sure where I would chronologically display them. Also they could...

The Mahogany Murderers is really good (and it's the pilot for Jago and Litefoot so a good starting point for that)
