That looks really good. Did you file off the rivets on the shoulder slats?

Re: Mark's 12" Dalek Army

My lovely (and very tolerant) wife bought me this for my birthday. It's the cover of the first Dr Who book I ever bought (which of course featured Daleks), and is signed by the artist Chris Achilleos. Very happy!

That's nice!

Though seeing the red rings around the hemispheres makes me think they'll never issue a real one, as I doubt the paint stencils include those rings.
They could easily do a 12" as the rings are separate parts to the hemis.

Re: Mark's Custom Daleks

I've been seeing a lot of publicity for the new Time Lord Victorious series. I really must see about getting hold of some. However in the meantime the Daleks on the front covers really caught my eye. Here's my attempt at the one from All Flesh Is Grass. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/3c/d5/9b/3cd59b...

Wow! It's totally unrecognisable from how it started. Really, really nice job.

I believe you may be referencing the 1975 Denys Fisher War of the Daleks board game. The board itself features a dalek with an orange dome and hemis, plus a silver skirt. The actual game pieces themselves were red/silver and blue/gold.
That's the one. Many thanks!

Re: Time Lord Victorious

I agree, some of those Dalek colour schemes look great, and I will definitely be attempting some 12" customs if they don't get officially released!

Very, very nicely done! I did a PE version of this. It's actually one of my all time favourite Dalek colour schemes.
