Re: omega1963's custom 12" Daleks

[quote=Fincon1 post_id=28203 time=1600780048 user_id=84] Nice one! I actually have an NSD completely dismantled ready for this colour scheme. I'm just trying to decide what grey to use for the base colour. Any tips? Incidentally, the mechanisms are indeed very similar b...

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

My opinions on each set: Fourths Companions - I like that we have a somewhat generic Sarah Jane that can go with Pertwee or Baker, the outfit on Tamm looks a lot better than the white & pink ensemble, but I'm not sure how I feel about Lallas red outfit. I've never watched Horns of Nimon. Is it wort...

Incidentally, the mechanisms are indeed very similar between the two brands. The main difference is due to the need for the rotating gun pla...

Re: Newly Acquired

Even if it is grey in the story its certainly nowhere near as 'bright' grey as the figure suggests. However, I've only watched the story once so I'm not 100% sure. The Daleks in the Destiny set look to be quite light grey as well. Perhaps the guy in charge of paint codes had the TV on the wrong set...

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

I thought those Dalek shoulders were too light but they’re growing on me I must say. The drone in the Chase set seems to have the Troughton era blue hemispheres where as the flamethrower version has the earlier Hartnell versions... Looking at some photos I can see what they were going for with the ...

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

I don’t visit for a few days and suddenly there’s new figures! Bloody typical ;)
I think I said this about the last release Al, and if I didn’t then someone else did, but you’ve really outdone yourself. Well done.

Ten Little Aliens was the first Dr. Who book I ever read. I enjoyed it.

Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread

Hello Al, Could you tell me what paint they use for the figures, thanks. Also as for the puffy shoulders for a Master figure what about Francesco from Vampires of Venice? I’m not Al but Francesco doesn’t have puffy shoulders and his costume is practically nothing like Ainley’s. Like he’s wearing bo...
