Re: Big Finish

It’s just been revealed that The Meddling Monk as played by Rufus Hound, will be appearing in March’s Main Range release, Subterfuge alongside Sylvester McCoy as the Doctor, and Ian McNeice as Winston Churchill. I’m loving that they’ve kept up their Hound Monk tradition. He’s appeared at least once ...

Re: The Ninth Doctor's Timeline

NO POEMS?????* *kidding By the way, I don't know a thing about "The Beast of Babylon," but I always found it interesting that the TARDIS dematerializes *comepletely* at the end of "Rose" before returning and the Doctor delivering his "It travels in time as well as space" line. Meaning for all we kn...

Re: The Series 12 SPOILER-FREE discussion

Is it though? It's either gonna be an annoyingly vanilla obvious twist like Series 6 had, or introduce some clever stuff that people on here have pointed out is entirely possible. Crucially, we've gotten clues that allude it might be the latter: Clearly, things like "Logopolis" still happened and t...

Of course, everyone did ignore the Doctor being half-human in the TV movie... :)
Yes, but that’s the point. This could be something of a similar degree, but you won’t be able to just ignore it because it’s not just a throwaway line.

Re: Series 12 discussion (SPOILERS)

So Chibnall has said in an interview that Jo Martin is 100% the Doctor and it’s not any kind of trickery or parallel universe. He also mentioned how she got the credit at the end like John Hurt because she’s a real Doctor.

And he also said that Jack won’t be back this series.

Re: The Series 12 SPOILER-FREE discussion

OK, so it has the *potential* to make me sick. I'll just keep an open mind then, shall I? It’s one of those things that you’ll have to wait for the answers to before getting annoyed, but if it goes the way it looks like it’s going, it’s like the Doctor being half human in the TV Movie except you ca...

Re: Doctor who Series 11/12 5.5” Figure wave

I don't know, I think a captain jack figure would be better if they could give him an older looking head, he looks a lot older than he did 12 years ago when they made the last sculpt. They'd likely just do different paint apps. While I still feel like we're getting a 13 variant or maaaybe a Judoon,...

Re: The Ninth Doctor's Timeline

Is there no wiggle room at the end of Beast of Babylon for the Doctor to take a detour before heading back to Rose? Not really, I think it actually ends with a “Did I mention?” To be fair though, BF would almost definitely just ignore it and do their own thing if they ever got Christopher Eccleston...
