Re: Series 12 discussion (SPOILERS)

"The Pilot" final rating was 7.24. I agree, perhaps it could match or just edge past it. But remember: *Many people treated Series 10's numbers as evidence for a new hand needed steering the ship. Or claimed the ratings drop was bad for the series. We're right back in that zone. *This wasn't just t...

It’s very NSFW so I don’t know if it’s appropriate for me to say

Re: Series 12 discussion (SPOILERS)

Well, let's just say at the time I thought it was rather garbage, but my opinion has softened since then. :) But more importantly, "garbage" is the sort of pejorative term that doesn't really describe what one isn't liking about something, but is more about an expression of anger, and doesn't really...

Re: Series 12 discussion (SPOILERS)

It’s all about opinion as well. I like a lot of the stories from RTD you mentioned and I’ve seen that people like Orphan 55, so it’s really all about taste and opinion. I worry now because the BBC seems to expect the show to inspire a performance that rivals the Davies era, and....well, final ratin...

I actually really enjoy that in the face of dissent about the show as of late, everyone is being pretty considerate here. Far cry ...

Re: Series 12 discussion (SPOILERS)

“Oh well don’t worry love, this era’s just not for you”. Can you think of any show that has that?? I can’t. Star Trek. p.s. I've been an American Doctor Who fan since 1979. I thought RTD's era was largely garbage, with the exception of some of the episodes he didn't write -- which were often brilli...

The Phrozen Transform is $60k? No, $2000. And it was previously on pre-order sale for $1500, but it looks like they've upped the price before I could get in on that action. Ah. That link you posted was to a $60,000 printer... But I realize now it was $60K in Taiwan dollars. :) https://www.phrozen3d...
