Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread

I have a question that I have wondered about for years: what is the story behind the tom figure from the Sontaran Experiment and two Genesis sets? we had that figure released three times, and all three releases it had the cardigan and green tie painted waistcoat and red respectively, despite them no...

Re: Mystery 10th Doctor Brown Coat Figure

My theory: So it's.... *A 10th Doctor that looks otherwise similar paint appwise to the last one released with a long coat in the 13 Doctors set. *Looks like an upscale version of the 3.75 scale figure in some regards. *Has articulation similar to the Tux 10th Doctor released in 2016, who was from ...

Re: Mystery 10th Doctor Brown Coat Figure

I only gave it a pretty cursory glance before but I can see what you mean, the back is quite different, the sort of long seam things running down the back all seem wider than on the released figure and the vent is considerably higher. It's a mysterious thing to be sure, I'd definitely be interested ...

Re: Avon's customs

I've missed seeing these, your customs are always great, I love the idea of a captain hawkins figure, I liked him, even before I'd seen blakes 7, he's a good character, it's sad when he gets killed off. That alteration really improves the davison face, I don't know why they painted them that way to ...

Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread

oh my days, yes, lorne sausage, that's another oine I just can't fathom the idea that you don't get it anywhere else, and it's really hard to describe to someone who hasn't tried it, it looks more like a rectangular burger than a sausage, and tastes like neither of those things. Delicious, though. P...

Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread

Ahhh I'm from Aberdeen! I feel like the only Who Collector up here sometimes. :D I don't live there any more, but I did for 5 years when I was at university there. I’m not aware we have them down here in the Fife - we do however have a variety of “well fired” produce, which I’m pretty sure is what ...

Re: Deborah's Collection of Miniature Plastic Friends UPDATE PAGE 15!!

Furriboi Troughton is gorgeous isn't he! Absolutely brilliant TARDIS too I love him so much, and I just realised that the coat is cast in the darker tan colour, with the beigey colour painted over it, I assumed to start with it was painted all over light then darker splodges painted on, but I think...

Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread

I'll be honest, although my first reaction when these leaks get out is an excitement at the prospect of getting whatever future thing it is, my second thought every time is feeling bad for you that your surprises keep getting preemptively found out. I do wonder how easy it is to trace leaks, I did a...

Not sure Al is going to base his releases entirely on whether you personally will buy them, but I guess that could be useful information

Re: Start a Blatantly False Toy Rumor

apparently the rumoured 5 doctors set is going to include a static, unarticulated scale replica of the waxwork tom baker from the publicity photos, along with a black 2-dimensional trapezoid and a transparent swirly pyramid, to represent the two forms of time scoop
