Re: Mark's Custom Daleks

The Lockdown Dalek Project part 5. So this isn't a Dalek, but it's closely related and I've always fancied having a go. Here's my attempt at a Roboman from the Dalek Invasion Earth 2150AD movie. He's not really screen accurate but I am quite pleased at how he's turned out. Made from an old Action Ma...

Re: What you reading? What you gonna read? (What’s the last thing you read/watched/played/listened to)

I loved "Life on Mars" but never saw "Ashes to Ashes." Is it worth getting into? Well I am loving it. I was 12 in 1980 so that decade was kind of my formative years. It has a great soundtrack, Gene Hunt is as brilliant as he was in LoM, and of course Keeley Hawes is smoking. Oh, and did I mention t...

I've been rewatching Life on Mars. The original UK version with one-time Master John Simm. I'm now halfway through Ashes to Ashes, which if anything I like even better because the 80s was my era, and I remember going rally marshalling in the Welsh forests and watching the awesome Audi Quattro blasti...

Re: eBay sales thread (no self-promotion, self- selling, etc.)

So this isn't a toy, but I couldn't resist showing you guys. It's a Spanish cinema poster for the Dr Who & the Daleks film and I think it's a wonderful thing. What I really love about it is that mostly the likenesses are pretty good, they've got the movie Daleks looking fine, then completely at rand...

Re: Most Wanted

One of the benefits of a highly specialised collection is that I do have a complete set of regular 12" releases, plus a few very rare / prototype items. However, there's always room for more, and there are at least two items that are rumoured to exist that I'd dearly love to get my hands on. Top of ...

Re: Newly Acquired

An Action Man which I got cheap on eBay. Really cheap. As an added but completely unnecessary bonus, he even has the fabulous "eagle eye" feature.

Why? You'll just have to wait and see. All will be revealed... at some point.
