Re: B&M doctor who sets.

Interesting article. But, I was a bit confused by that first bit about a new announcement coming any day now. Was there said to be an announcement coming shortly which I've missed? Or have I been misled by something?

Re: General set proposals

Also, they've not even made three NOTD variants, there's only two variants, injured and non-injured. Unless I'm missing something, which is possible. Anyway, I kinda broadly agree. I think that they should really be using the new parts to make new companions and monsters rather than variants of Comp...

Re: General set proposals

Agreed, you don't have anything to apologize for AndrozaniChap, it's not your fault someone took your image and removed the context of it. Anyway, random proposal: I think it'd be cool if CO pulled Dapol, made a 70s Silurian figure, and then reissue and reuse all the limbs with a new head and torso ...

Re: General set proposals

Going to join in with the others, that playset is stunning. As for a TARDIS playset, I imagine it'd be something like the Season 13 console room, which doesn't really have any furniture. Just some card walls, probably angled differently to the above UNIT lab diorama, with the 4th Doctor (possibly th...

Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread

On the one hand, I currently have money, and I could use it to buy a DCC decoder for my Stanier 5MT, or my Collett Castle. Or I could buy some of those nice looking rolling stock model kits. On the other hand, I hunger for new figures. I mean, what if there's a new companions? What if plastic 1st Do...

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

Jago and Litefoot? The Decayed Master appeared in one of their Big Finish boxsets. The Decayed Master took over the body of Tremas, which means that we're definitely getting a proper Ainley Master in this year's B&M sets!

Re: The “Questions for The Lurker” thread

The story that image comes from seems to be "Doctor Who and the Daleks", a short comic that was told on little cards that came with Cadet Sweet's Candy Cigarettes. Incidentally, it's also likely the first piece of non-TV content to feature the character of the Doctor, referred to as Doctor Who. Anyw...

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

It's a mock-up. A good mock-up, but a mock-up all the same. I believe it comes from some account called something like "Doctor Who 5.5 Mock Ups" or something on Twitter.

Re: B&M doctor who sets.

Maybe they could do an online exclusive or something of the Season 18 4th Doctor but with the hat and socks and shoes, a new variant of the Season 18 4th Doctor, which would make everyone happy. Perhaps do that and a slightly updated Classic TARDIS with non-blocky ended signs and no box under the l...
