Love these, especially the paintjob on the Recon Dalek, I hope the official one looks that good in hand.
Thanks!

For the next series in my The Seventh Doctor's series I have decided to take another crack at a TV movie Seventh Doctor.
Image
(Sorry if you can't see the above picture, I'm having to link it from GBase as it won't let me upload new pictures due to the board reaching it's maximum attachment quota)

I did make one many years ago and whilst it was the best I could do at the time looking back on it now, it's very poor so I thought it was about time I remade it, as I now have the skills to improve on it, and I thought I could make it a bit more accurate than the official Big Finish release versions.

Figure Breakdown :
Torso & Arms : Bracewell + Waistcoat
Legs : Seventh Doctor with extended waistline for height
Coat : Saxon Series 3 Master

Overall it was just a case of repainting but I did have to do a bit of filler with milliput around the back of the shoulders to cover the gap between the jacket & shoulders.

The head sculpt is a custom version of my own serious faced hatted Seventh with additional hair and I also made a non-hatted version but I might use that on another custom in this series.

And yes for those wondering (and maybe hoping) I will be selling copies of both of them on my Etsy & eBay shops from February 1st!

Well here is my "Ruth" Doctor as I'm calling her!
Image
It's quite a mix and match with lots of sculpting so here's a break down :
Legs/Torso & Arms - Claudia Primeval
Coat - Toshiko Sato Torchwood
Head - Martha Jones

The waistcoat & shirt have been sculpted as have the lapels on the coat and buttons.
For the arm cuffs I used sections cuts from a Third Doctor figure and also used the same frill piece to create the shirt collar ruffle.

I did try sculpting dreadlocks on to the head but that is currently a bit beyond my skills so I decided in the end just to move the ponytail to one side and add in a fringe. Everything else was just paint! Custom Figure Showcase : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoRkFwo684Q

For YEARS, people have been requesting this custom from me, and whilst many years I did try and make it it just wasn't up to scratch so I decided to wait until my skills were better...and here we are! My Eric Roberts Movie Master(s)
Image
On the left we have him in his robes all "drezz"ed up, and on the right his more conventional trench coat outfit.

The robed figure is overall a Rassilon base but with the legs swapped out for a Delgado set and the undershirt is from a Beevers Master (Delgado would work just as well but it's what I had spare.
Then the collar and sleeves are just sculpted on with Millput, to which there are few mistake I need to correct like the inside of the sleeves not being red and on the back I missed the seal of Rassilon but I will add those later.
The headsculpt is a Series 1 Auton but with a new hair sculpt.

The trench coat one, is overall a Ninth Doctor figure but with a Tenth Doctor coat put over the top an new stand up collars sculpted on as well as a new zip up shirt sculpted on too, and the head is a copy of the Auton head on the left but with added glasses.

And yes both head sculpts are available on my etsy & eBay stores for those interested!

Another possible variant you COULD make from this is taking the robed head and putting it onto the trench coat body to make a "Big Finish" variant but I'll keep them as they are for now

Hey Jimi,
My lockdown project this week has been to break down the 4th Doctor attire and compare it to the figures we so far have got. Given a few easy figures would involve bib swapping how many have you managed to complete? Have you done a video detailing the few we have and identified the ones we dont.
Keep up the good work

Koth, if you're wanting to do a breakdown of all 4th doctor costume items then this page is a really valuable resource they have a pretty comprehensive listing of costume items episode by episode, broken down by series, it's not 100% but it's pretty much everything: http://www.4thdoctorcostume.com/2013/05 ... welve.html
Hope this is helpful.

Thanks and I haven't done a video on that myself but as Deb has listed that site is probably the best site to break down all the individual parts to which you can compare the figure pieces too!
