Compatible Figures and Playsets for Customs

Post by skifflebits »

A place to post figures and playsets that could be customized to work with CO's Doctor Who line.

We all know about the Primeval figures.

BBC's Robin Hood figures are also in scale, though they tend to be a shade thinner in the faces.

This TMNT "Epic Lair" playset would be a great base set to repaint into any kind of base for Daleks, Cybermen, Yeti, etc. etc. Shame it's technically out of production.

I remember seeing a fair number of people using McFarlane's Prince of Persia gate as display piece for CO figures.

Good luck finding this one, but Mezco's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea Captain Nemo set made a nice base for an alternate TARDIS playset, along with a junk TARDIS console I repainted. Shame I can't find any photos anywhere.

UPDATE: I did manage to find some photos. I'll post them in my customs thread.

Yeah they're 6 inch scale, I mean the 6 inch scale diorama I built for them pretty much works for 5.5 inch but I guess that depends on what exactly the diorama is. The figures themselves though are generally much bigger and would look out of place with the 5.5 inch line.

Yeah, I always wish I'd bit the bullet and picked up the Buffy set years ago. Could've had a very nice console room.

Totally irrelevant but can I give a big shout out to BBC Robin Hood, I love that show. I remember watching back in the day, everyone who watched Who seemed to. Shame the action figures look worse than Toots, but the show was great.

I didn't know they made figures for the BBC Robin Hood series, did they do one of William Beck's character, I think he was called Royston White? Asking for a friend.
