Boil and pop, sir!

(Which means put the figure in a bowl, pour some boiling water over it, let the plastic get soft, then twist the head back and fort while pulling until it comes off. Be careful not to burn your hands.)

And it genuinely might be easier to swap the arms and jacket than to swap the legs and head. Arm swaps are a pain, but not impossible, and easier than leg swaps, from what I hear.

I've done an arm swap, but never a leg swap.

Depends on the figure too,

I tried to do an arm swap today and my god it was impossible,

For future reference, the plastic the s3 master is made from is a million times harder than the plastic the s5 11th Doctor is made from, I have a nasty cut on my hand to prove it!

Query: I have my eye on a 60s Dalek on eBay (Used). Some of the hemispheres are scuffed.

Does anyone know a paint that's the exact match for Dead Planet - Chase Daleks hemispheres? I don't want to paint over all of them. Just a fixer upper.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they used Ford Olympic Blue.

And -- wow! -- a google search turned this up almost immediately.

I had no idea "Ford Olympic Blue" was so available.

Most of the paints used for Daleks since 1963 (or extremely close matches) are readily available. projectdalek.com has lists of all those sorts of things.

Is it the same on the toy, though? I know that colour between TV Prop & toy don't always line up.

Looking at you, 'Resurrection' Drone.

No idea on that one. I don't know if anyone knows, really. How big are the spots that need touching up?

Looking at mine, imma say that Olympic blue is a tad turquoise, but for small scratches it’d be fine
