CharlieTheWhovian's Customs!

Post by CharlieTheWhovian » Mon Jul 29, 2019 2:39 pm

I will get round to taking pictures at some point but here's what I have so far!

What you can expect:
Rose Tyler from 'Rose' and most s1 promo photos
Bill Potts from 'Knock Knock'
The Twelfth Doctor from 'Hell Bent' (added waistcoat)
The Twelfth Doctor from 'The Lie of the Land'
Missy from Series 10 (improved accuracy)
and I've got an old 'Snowman' custom from about 5 years ago so there's a lot of room for improvement but I might post it at some point!

Oh and I'm working on another Missy custom from 'The Lie of the Land' as she appears in the vault without her jacket.

Also if anyone has any suggestions on what I could do custom-wise with another B&M 12th Doctor set let me know!

So first up, here is my first proper custom!

Rose Tyler from 'Rose' (& Series 1 Promos)

Apologies for the picture quality but that's the trouble with an Android phone

I will try to post more angles and WIP shots later but it's been very awkward trying to get it from my phone to the image hosting site so I'll sort it later because I can't be bothered right now!

Certainly not bad, but remember in future...

Thin your paints!

Well, the paint on that- while it is overall a good custom- looks a bit... uneven? Basically, two coats of paint/a little water get a better result than 1 thick coat.

Fair enough. I think it's a little less noticeable in hand, but I'll bear that in mind for my next one!

What did you use? The legs look like they're Martha Jones, but I'm not sure on the rest.

Yep! The entire body is Martha's actually but I sculpted over the torso entirely after removing the PVC jacket.
