omega1963's custom 12" Daleks

Post by omega1963 » Wed Jul 03, 2019 5:01 pm

After seeing a few people, both on here and eBay customise the CO and product enterprise 12" daleks I thought id give it a go too.

Up first, but not the first I customised is a genesis style new series CO dalek. The main body was hand painted, although just after I started I got an airbrush so decided to airbrush the hemis and the fender while the rest is hand painted.

Up next is a fully airbrushed dalek (minus the mesh in the neck section, the blue of the slats and the gold polygon at the front which were hand painted). This is a very unusual one as to my knowledge it was only seen briefly at the start of one Pebble Mill episode back in the 80's, and was only seen from the back. Ive never seen a custom of this, especially in 12" scale so I think I'm unique in owning one of these. I know the plunger arm and probably gun should be black, maybe ill go back and change these one day.

I have 13 Product enterprise daleks with only 2 of these being customs. One is a 60's supreme while the other is based on the tussauds dalek but came out darker than I was expecting. Pictures of both, along with my other CO customs will be coming soon

I do own 13 of the 12" product enterprise daleks yes. Only 2 are customised though, those being:

An almost finished 60's supreme, got this cheap so was a bit damaged, need to find a replacement eye, fix the gun and id like to touch up the damaged paintwork sometime.

And an almost finished tussauds dalek, this was in better condition when I got it and im regretting not using this one for the supreme instead. Just need to finish the "solar slats" on this one.

I have 4 other CO NSDs customised currently, all based on classic colour schemes, with 3 of these being from the 60's.

First a light grey version based on the ones from Destiny of the daleks, although I decided to add some red detailing, one day im planning to make a proper suicide dalek.

The next 3 are the supreme dalek seen in the chase and the daleks master plan, a regular "drone dalek" based on those from the chase to evil of the daleks (yes i know the shade of blue for the hemis was darker during the Troughton era but I've ignored this) and an emperor guard from evil of the daleks.
