Yikes, amazon prices do tend to end up like this for loose stuff.

Tried giving the coat on Dr Who a fresh coat of paint. Even after the scorching heat, it's still tacky!

OK, I've cleaned the paint off with White Spirit.

I'll use Primer this time. Bloody PVC.

Since Stike doesn't come with a gun, I've taken the official guns away from my Customs & put them aside for the 80's Sontarans. I plan on getting two; one for Stike & the other for Varl.

I whittled down the handle of a paint brush to make a gun for EmperorDHS' Custom Trooper, while the Staal & Strax customs will use the black wand from the latest Lego Harry Potter line, with the tips painted silver.

The size difference between the gun & the Lego wand is not that drastic.

I bought a second Sontarans set from B&M today.

When I got home, I swapped the heads.

Styre now matches the other Sontarans, while Linx is the odd one out with the 5 digits on each hand.

Now, before someone questions my sanity, I'd just like to say that I blame the Retail Industry for putting out Christmas stuff early.

I am a certified Christmas Freak. I saw the Christmas stuff opposite the Hallowe'en stuff at B&M & couldn't get Christmas out of my head!

I got an idea & just went with it.

I purchased a 1/12 scale Santa Claus doll and thought it looked weird. So, I:

1. Took a Series 6 Eleventh Doctor figure.
2. Removed his Tweed jacket.
3. Took the Santa outfit from the doll (along with the spongey stuffing).
4. Carefully put the outfit on the Doctor.
5. Wrapped the body in cling film to protect it and sculpted the beard & hair on Santa.
6. Painted said hair & beard. First in flesh tone, then in white (like, 2 or 3 coats).
7. I took the rubbish looking hat from the doll, cut the white trim & used that for Santas collar.

By the way, I ordered a replacement hat for him. Hopefully, it will be here soon.
