It won't mean any are coming. They always do these polls. They have no influence on whats happeneing but just get sent info straight from UT and CO etc.

But CO/UT can still overview these polls and determine what figures they could/should make depending on public reassurance.

Nope, this is part of Series 7. (The Christmas Special, thus the figures are too).

Anyway, I voted for: Doctor (in Spaceman Angel suit), Lily Arwell, Tree King, Tree Queen, Droxil, Billis.

But the Christmas Special is part of the Series before because it is classed as 6.14...

You can use whatever system you want, but it most certainly is not called "6.14" all official paperwork doesn't even call it "Series 6" anyway so the second that someone calls that official something is wrong with the source immeditley.

The full production code is "Doctor Who 11-3 Christmas Special", or "11.3.X" for short, or "3.X" for even shorter. Doesn't really matter it's part of the new series not the old one.

Although to complicate matters the next Christmas Special is going to be part of this series rather than 11.4 by the sounds of things.

Also, they could tweak the Sontaran Pod to make it look like the ship that went through the vortex.
