Do we know yet if all the writers have been announced?

My fingers are crossed for Paul Cornell if we've got any spaces...

Plenty of spaces, out of the fifteen slots, Moffat has taken six, then Gatiss has one, Whithouse has one, Chibnall has one and Fay has one.

There are five spaces still available.

Roughly it comes out like this

3.X - The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe (Steven Moffat)
3.1 - ??? of the ??? (Steven Moffat)
3.2 - ??? (Steven Moffat)
3.3 - ??? (Toby Whithouse)
3.4 - ??? (Chris Chibnall)
3.5
3.6
3.7
3.8
3.9
3.10
3.11
3.12
3.13
3.14 - (Steven Moffat)

Where Gatiss and Fay's scripts come in are uncertain, althoiugh by the sounds of things Mark Gatiss will be writing an Amy and Rory story so it will be pretty early on. Moffat's last two scripts will be consecutive as well so that lowers the potential number of positions for it to go. Of course, the schedules could change drastically after this but this seems to be the rough positions and we can at least tell what the production codes will be.

I hope they do them justice, no dramatic overhauls or anything.

Please remember though, TED, that Gatiss and Fay are NOT confirmed to be writing for the series. Their names were not mentioned in DWM 444. :)

Not even the "Vienna, meat and Klaxon" hints for his story?

Gatiss' story was confirmed before that though. I take it you got the "uncofirmed" story from doctorwhonews.net who have also claimed it is unconfirmed. The man himself has confirmed it is coming, even if his "hint" at his "new episode" was actually for The Hounds of Baskerville.

In fact he confirmed he was writing for this series before Night Terrors had even broadcast, although he wasn't certain what he was writing or how much.

Yes, but because he has said that; we can't jump to assumptions. No official announcement has been made thus far, so he is not confirmed to be writing for the series (nor is Fay).

Erm... Mark Gatiss says he's writing an episode in the new series, so we can't assume he's writing one. You're geting worse than CO.
