As we saw with Sherlock, Stephen is usually in the dark when it comes to the air date until nearly the last moment. Bit unfair, but i guess all producers are at their mercy.

He's had his heart set on an Autumn/Winter broadcast, and chances are Danny Cohen is messing around again for his own purposes.

After all, what use is a Summer/Autumn and Spring broadcast going to be for the show? Right in the middle of "barbeque time" as Moffat likes to call it.

Chances are we'll get a pretty rubbish summer this year(the amount of people ive heard saying "we've already had our summer is phenomenal"), and even though i'll miss out on bikini lines this year ( ), the Doctor might come up trumps and benefit from a bad summer, so the production team might just have the last laugh yet.

Maybe there won't be a split now. If it runs consecutively from say 25th August for 13 weeks the series would finish on 17 November. Then only 5 weeks to the Christmas episode.
Or they could do what they did last year. Then Merlin follows WHO. I think they both should be on at the same time, ratings winner for the BBC. We will have to wait and see.

As for the title it is just a rumour, and not from the screening. As for the broadcast date, if the screenings of other episodes are anything to go by though, it seems unlikely to have a few screenings on the days before and of broadcast itself it will likely be in mid to late September at the earliest.

I agree, i totally wasn't saying that! Just saying she obviously can't be in a Christmas special which isn't aired before episode 7, because she's definately in episode 7 onwards.

I agree, i totally wasn't saying that! Just saying she obviously can't be in a Christmas special which isn't aired before episode 7, because she's definately in episode 7 onwards.

All you are missing is the key point though, it is important that she is travelling with the Doctor in episode seven and onwards because she is travelling with him from episode six onwards, so why would episode six be brodacasted after episode fourteen?
