Airdate Confusion

BBC America is claiming an airdate of 1st of September, so the US fans won't be too happy if they are getting pushed back a week.

Last year the final episode of Doctor Who and the first episode of Merlin coincided on the same day so it is entriely possible it will be the 1st of September for Doctor Who, and the BBC won't get Steven Moffat going off on a rant for ruining his no Spring/Summer broadcast plans.

That sounds like a distinct possibility, guess we'll find out in a few weeks from now.

Now ther's a cross over opportunity. Merlin / Doctor Who. A single episode that acts as both the opening episode to Merlin S6 / Doctor Who S8 or the Christmas 2013 Doctor Who / Merlin special.

The BBC always publicly reveal their press releases though so we'll be able to tell if it is made up or not. If it is real, we'll already know all the information.

Look i'm just betting on a early September air date and then in Mid October or around there the series will go off air but not for long, then we will get the Xmas Special which will lead towards the Second Half of the series.
