For that price range they were all good.
The Doctor in space suit, I was very excited about getting. Visually, they work well enough, but I can't see them holding out if played with.

That's them finally given their statement:

We have received a number of emails and requests from customers eagerly awaiting the release date of the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond 1:6 Scale Collector Figures. We apologise for the delay and thank you for your continued support. Rest assured our vendors are busily working away on the manufacture of the figures. We are travelling to China this coming weekend to review production and will have an update for you mid next week. Thanks The BIG Chief Team

Yup, they have been in contact with me, and I'm satisfied with what the statement will be next week.
And they are going to enjoy the weather as well, as right now, its very nice :D

It is a big country though, your bit might be a different part from their bit. They might arrive and have terrible weather. Hopefully not though, although everyone has a different definition of "terrible", people like a bit of sunshine, but not a heatwave. Finding the balance is what is right.

Of course I live in Scotland so the balance is complete overcast (although in fairness, it doesn't actually rain here as often as it does in England, it is just that when it rains here it pours).

The weather accross the land is very good, and I got out of Scotland a couple of decades ago. Weather there can be OK for a day or two every year

Well we've managed three good days so far this year and it is only May. Mind you, it was snowing a month ago.

Anyway back to the figures, if both the Doctor and Amy are in production then perhaps they will be coming out at the same time (and after several delays to both it wouldn't suprise me if they did it just to get them out of the way).

They should be coming out together, and the BC guys will do their best to get all pre orders sent out as speedily as they can.

It will be nice to see them when they are out. Way out of my price range so I'll be relying on others for pictures but hopefully someone will enjoy them (ie. you DVD  ).

It is interesting to note that because they have chosen these figures it is possible to create two seperate costumes that appeared on screen for both of them (and they have already noted it). There is the Eleventh Doctor with his costume that first appeared in A Christmas Carol and also the jacvketless version (that appeared in The Doctor's Wife). Also with Amy Pond there is of course the costume from The Doctor's Wife but by removing the jacket there is also a costume she wore briefly in Day of the Moon (with the pink shirt and skirt).

As the pointed out with their expansion packs, the "story titles" that were connected to them are not actually, it is just a group of clothing items that allow for several various options for costumes so the same applies to the figures.

The expansion packs are something that got me excited.
I am counting on a pirate costume for the Amy figure.. That would be a fantastic figure.

Pirate Amy would seem very likely. People when they heard an Amy figure was coming instantly assumed it was Victory of the Daleks but by going for The Doctor's Wife, it allows for possible expansion into other costumes without having to make the whole thing.

With Pirate Amy they already will have the shirt and skirt, leaving just the hat, coat, strap, jacket (from normal costume that is under the pirate coat) and tights. Not too sure about shoes, I can't find any decent pictures of the whole costume.

Might be worth baring in mind with future figures, they will go for the costume that can be most easily adapted by the expansion packs.
