The BBC just dropped this trailer!

Sometimes you don't realise just how much you love a character until they surprise you in a trailer. Bill Potts I love you.

AAAHHHHHH YEEEEES

There's so many things I could nitpick in the trailer but I honestly don't care, really excited for it.

I'm more excited about Polly to be fair. I was hoping for at least a voice cameo from Anneke Wills but this is great. Just wish we were back in the years that CO's figure production was strong because that would mean we'd get a Polly figure.

Not sure you'll see her doing a camel, apparently she's not a fan of David Bradley playing the 1st Doctor.

So I have 2 good things and 2 bad things about this trailer:
Good: Hartnell to Bradley transition, the general look of the thing
Bad: Gatiss, Bill

The setting is WW1 right? I hope so because it would mean Gatiss isn't playing the Brig or something daft.

Wonder what the monster will be? And what will we see from The Tenth Planet?
Also I think it's confirmed this is the last we'll see of Bill.

Pearl Mackie confirmed at SDCC this is her last appearance.
It is set during WW1, and Mark Gatiss is playing "the Captain" which I bet is the Brig's grandfather.

Gatiss said it's and "honour and a thrill" to play the character, and that he echoes through all of DW. I really hope it isn't the Brig, Gatiss is nothing like him.

Gatiss even has a wonky moustache in the trailer

Calling it now, his last scene is him saying his surname is Lethbridge-Stewart (or one of the two).

There are three possibilities for who Mark is playing.
The Master (unlikely, but who knows?)
The Brigadier's granddad (As mentioned here)
Hitler (That's the rumour I heard)
I'd be very confused if he actually was playing Hitler though.
