The Metro, but I am picking up a parcel later which is probably Issues 94 and 95 of the Figurine Collection.

My guess about the parcel was right. Just the Metro again today for me.

I don't know if everyone is aware of it or not, but Walmart has the "Rogue One" U-Wing and TIE Striker 3.75" scale vehicles on rollback pricing down to $19.87 (down from around $50 and $40 respectively). I do not know if this is a permanent price reduction or not.

I picked up the 2 vehicles on the way home from work today.

If anyone was holding out on buying them or just want more, now is the time to get them!

The Wal-Mart "Star Wars" rollbacks continue!

All "Black Series" figures (both scales - 3.75" and 6") are 50% off.

I picked up 4 Jyn Erso figures for future custom projects. You cannot beat a fully articulated female base figure for $5.86 nowadays. Also, she has one of the best accessories I have ever seen at this scale: a modular weapon that goes from a pistol to a sniper rifle. The figure does not look like Felicity Jones at all but rather more like Noomi Rapace from "Prometheus" which is pretty cool.

As most of you know, I tend to think outside of the box when it comes to my hobby. I often go beyond the usual action figure lines looking for inspiration and potential fodder.

Today at K-Mart I found this set of faux stone borders in their garden section.

In each box you get 8 wall sections, one "male" endcap, one "female" endcap and an assortment of long and short stakes to fasten them into your lawn.

1 wall piece with female endcap (front left), male endcap (front right) (stakes not pictured).

The wall pieces look great next to 3.75"/4" figures and can be used to make not just walls but square structures as well.

Image
4 sided "fort" (you can make 2 of these with the box's contents).

4 sided "fort" with a 3.75" Boss Fight Studio Ultimate Spartan for scale.

In the pictures, you will see that I also have some great faux stone stepping stones that make great capstones or even bases for the square structures.

This set was only $24 and well worth it. You will need to trim off flash along all of the edges, fill the round openings for the stakes and do a repaint for total realism, but any project requires some manual labor.
