The new series has actually made me want to make fan art, which aside from custom figure stuff I never really do. I started working on this after the episode yesterday, i'll post the full thing when it's done. Anybody know the poster it was inspired by?

But seriously, though, that's pretty cool, it's lovely that the series is back, everyone is engaged, we have discussion, even with those who didn't enjoy it so much it's great to have that to talk about, people like you being inspired to make art (I've also made a thing, but I can't really share it here) it's just lovely that's what's made me smile.

Yeah I thought it might be pretty obvious. Must say, even though Capaldi was my favourite Doctor, I haven't been quite this excited about the series in a while.

If it makes you feel better I only got it because a friend of mine tried to make pretty much that exact idea, but slightly less well done, back when the episode title was revealed.

I read this story backwards, getting to this bit after reading the second bit was somehow more funny. Setup retroactively making the punchline funnier.

Seeing the sun today! Even if it couldn't keep me awake, still, a nice sight.
