I don't and haven't for over a year. I'd come up with a good excuse but in all honesty it's because they suck. Let's say for example by the time the series 3 wave came out the quality was 50. Now you'd expect if a decrease would occur, it would be gradual and from 50 to say 48 then 46. But no. Transition from series 3 to 4 was yes. But from 4 to 5 we had something like 50 down to 12 and then 12 down to -67. They suck

I have bought sets and the quality has been fine, after I have checked several figures out. Trouble is, people put up with it. Tv21 even said like twisted eye stalks, neck rings on Daleks are acceptable as we can rectify them. No, we should not have to. I said on another thread that a friend had a problem with Biff bang pow figure, he contacted them, they apoligised, assured everything gets checked and have sent out a replacement free of charge. Underground toys said to me recently, when I told them about a problem with the 7th Doctors Tardis, "As you didn't get it directly from us, go back to where you bought it".

I just emailed UT telling them the difference in customer service.

I don't mean quality control. I mean general quality of figures. Last figures I ever bought were idris and uncle... They were last for a reason

I see where DB is coming from. I get them because I'm a collector of this stuff, and can afford to get them. I have not been excited about many of the 11th Doctor figures at all. The Idris, Uncle and straight jacket Doctor excluded.
The S1 - S4 figures had a lot to get excited about. Effectively there were only 12 figures issued for S4 but they were all excellent, and I was excited about their arrival.

I didn't collect any other figures untill a year ago. I felt the need to collect stuff that excited me again, hence my HT collection. Who really isn't doing it any more.

That said, there have been some very nice Classic sets that I liked, such as the Chase set.

The classics are still brilliant. But I've stopped collecting out of principle. If they can only be bothered to make good stuff for ridiculous prices, it's not a company I want to be funding.

Ah I get you DB. Well I have not bought the Seeds of Doom set, can't afford it. The price is because they are only available from one outlet in the UK, FP, and are exclusive. And costs have gone up a lot.
But I am going to have to be more selective I think. I think they should so story sets, like the Daleks ones, instead of random enemies of, which I do like though.

Well, they have done quite a fair few story sets, e.g. Keeper of Traken sets, Davros sets, etc.

Yes, more like that but put a companion in the set.
