What Dalek figure design model is your favorite?

Postby timelordinhumanbody » Sat Mar 31, 2012 9:22 pm

HI guys. I was looking over my Doctor Who figures and payed special note to the Daleks. I love Doctor Who but have got more into collecting the Daleks as I absolutely love the different types. I am really interested to find out what is your favorite and why.

I really love the white revelations Dalek myself as it has the classic design but the white and gold looked so cool when I first saw it on TV, and when I saw the figure I was like WOW.........big impact.

So please tell me what Dalek you love.

I really like The Chase - The Evil of the Daleks ones. Although The 'Remembrance' Imperials are awesome too. On a slightly different note, although not figures, the Daleks from the upcoming Power of the Daleks remake are great - a cross between an RTD Dalek and an original.

Just announced by Moffat himself, Matt Smith's favourite is the 60's Daleks :)

Mine would probably be RTD

White Imperials from Remembrance of the Daleks, they were the first i ever saw on tv and as a 3 year old, the sight and sound of that Dalek coming up the basement to kill the Doctor was the thing of nightmares at that age.

My favourite design model is either the Genesis of the Daleks' Dalek, Remembrance of the Daleks' Dalek or the Dalek Dalek
Last film watched: Iron Man 2 (2010), Iron Man 3 (2013)

The "Dr Who and the Daleks" Daleks... for me they are the zenith of Dalek design. They have the simple, clean lines of the original Daleks, but with added height thanks to the bumper and lights, and of course beautiful colour schemes.

Beautiful :D

So why are the Paradigm being called all manner of things yet these are not?

Because the Paradigm are hunch-backed, ugly-looking monstrosities which have no redeeming features whatsoever. They are just... ugh. An insult to the genius of Ray Cusick.

I'll go back to the same argument Mark Gatiss used, they are Daleks not glamour models.
