He's the main character in a movie called American Psycho, he's a homicidal serial killer. The movie is his self confession as we see him slip more and more deeper into an uncontrolled homicidal blood lust. Then you are left wondering in the end of the film if it was just an illusion all in his head.
So when Rose said he cut the arms and the legs off the figure... it was in fact... very Patrick Bateman of him.

I prefer S1 to S2 Rose, I dunno why, probably the costume. I like the pose as well.
