TV21 Dalek wishlist

Postby TV21_Dalek » Mon Jul 09, 2012 3:17 pm

I probably have one of these elsewhere, but times change and so does what I want.

My wishlist is actually pretty much smaller than most people, and goes something like this... a 1, 2, 3, 4:

Companions/Assistants
    Susan
    Ian
    Barbara
    Sara Kingdom
    Jamie
    Zoe
    Jo
    Ace

Foes
    "Evil" Emperor Dalek
    Ice Lord
    Yeti (Web version preferably)
    Dalek with Seismic Detector
    Azal and Bok
    Master in cult robes
    Ainley Master in signature outfit
    1970 Silurian

Misc
    1960s console
    1970s console
    1980s console
Dalek time ship with Black Dalek
    War Chief and SIDRAT
    Brigadier and Benton
    UNIT two-pack

I like your list, especially...

-War Chief and SIDRAT

I would say they could use the same face sculpt for Brayshaw on a Léon Colbert figure, but i have an odd feeling they wouldn't touch Reign of Terror with a barge pole. Except maybe a Hartnell in peacock hat. And yes, we need those consoles!

I'm still shocked that we haven't had a single classic console since the classic line started... they even cut the TARDIS shells short... it would have been really nice for the 8th to come with more than just a flaming sonic screwdriver. They could have got away with the 7th TARDIS in a darker blue.
Oh well... can't have everything.

Yeah with the TARDIS shells we could still potentially have the 1966 version and the 1996 version, shove Jamie with the former and the Master with the latter (I think the Master spent more screen time with the TARDIS that the Doctor did in the movie) and there we go. Would be nice :)

I know it was a bit camp, but who wouldn't want an Eric Roberts Master to pose in the "I like to dress for the occasion" stance.
I wonder if I'm the first person here to use 'camp' and 'Eric Roberts' in the same sentence and live, lol

Seriously though, the lack of a classic console, from ANY decade is unfathomable.

Haha! Yeah i would, he gets a bad rap but he was my Master and as a kid he was pretty intimidating, especially with those eyes.

If anyone sensible works for CO or UT, next year just has to be the year for a console, and if an episode in the 2013 series involves the old console or console room, they'd attract younger fans and potentially make some decent profit. I wouldn't even mind if it came in the new series packaging like those FX Daleks.

Oh he was a good Master... better than John Simm was. I mean the scene in the bedroom where he killed his wife was just so brutal... just shows that he really is a monster.

I like your list.
I have a suggestion, that I nabbed from the DVDs. How about for the actual 50th Anniversary, we get a properly presented really cool, 50th Anniversary set of "The Beginning".

A TARDIS interior set with Ian, Barbara, Susan and the Doctor.

This set could be produced in both B/W and color. CO would then double up on collector sales right away. It would be fitting and correct. It could have a limited edition of 5000 world wide and have a signed card of Ian and / or Susan.

Pre-order for release on the 23rd November 2013.

Come on CO - see the sense of this.

True fact, she's Roberts' wife in real life!

I have wondered about when they start releasing companions from the monochrome era. We should end up with B/W companions as well as colour ones, it would make sense.

DVD... I like that.
And if they use the first console room there is so much they can pack into it, including the device hanging from the ceiling, the wall computers, chair, etc. I think it was the biggest console room set prior to 1996. It would certainly have me shelling out the sheckles for it.

This from the Mind Robber (http://www.themindrobber.co.uk/tardis-set-history-console-room-design.html) shows the relative size of the room.

Come on CO... you'll make so many of us so very very happy.
