My first was Dalek and I remember rushing home from my Grandad's house in Manchester (2 hours away), going to the loo and sitting about 50cm away from the TV with my sister and loving every second of the episode!

The Five Doctors, if that counts, just after the broadcast of Rose... And I loved it. Even though I thought the Daleks were called the Dialex...

Of course it counts, the Dalek was part of the story.

Doctor Who & the Daleks, with Peter Cushing.
I have seen Doctor Who since I was a little kid, as a little kid in the 1980's, I never saw a Dalek story until this one. It was a warm summer night in 1989, on CBC, a Canadian television station I can pick up here in Michigan, and taped it as it went, and this was my first Dalek story when I was 10. Up until this, I saw mainly Tom Baker, Pertwee and a hint of Davison.
The meaning of apocalypse is opposite of what most people think. It doesn't mean end of the world; it's revealing of hidden secrets & beginning of heaven on earth. The apocalypse is starting now.

Destiny of the Daleks is the earliest I remember especially the bit when you first see Davros. I just recall the part when you see him all covered in cobwebs as he starts to move his hand. A bit creepy when you're seven.
