I emailed Tom Spilsbury and another gentleman at the magazine when I had completed "Mission to the Unknown" and even sent them the final files for the entire first chapter just to let them know that I was committed to doing this project for the anniversary. They never responded. I figured I wouldn't continue to send them files but I did send Tom a follow up email reminding him that I am still working on it and had completed the first half of the story. No response.

Have you tried twitter? Or get people on here to tweet him saying how we would love to see your work in the mag.

Well, for something like this, I figured his direct email would be the best place to go but I've heard that although he's a great guy, he's not the best at getting back to people so I'm not sure what the deal is. Plus, I get the feeling that American illustrators aren't really top of the list of choices for drawing in DWM. I think they might like to keep it local. I could be wrong---hope I am but if that's the case, I understand.

No excuse for not replying to you though. I clicked on your link but can't see your art work.

Hmm, let me put that here again:

it worked when I clicked on it, not sure what the trouble could be. There's stuff there from some of my other projects plus the preview pages I've shown here...
