I would love to see these on the big screen. In 1999 I would only have been 3 years old but I would have loved to see the movies then anyway. I'm currently making my 5th and 6th silver and blue Dalek figures. Have the first movie on my iPad and I watch it at least every month. Just wish I could see them on the big screen.

Maybe for the 50th they would do limited screenings? I'd love that.

I wouldent as I live in a small town. Our cinema is rubbish and never shows the limited screening stuff. I just want it to be in all cinemas.

I had to throw that at ya -
Nah, it's the best thing I ever bought for watching movies, after the BD machine. The BD player will auto upscale DVD to near BD quality, but not quite as clear and certainly not as sharp.
I'd be well happy to see these DALEK titles available on BD, and would jump straight onto em.

Yeah, all the bells n whistles.
My boss, the principle caught my stuff here ans said he'd never buy another TV again. People always notice that something is missing !!! Then you activate a movie or a concert or whatever, and that gets attention. Real Steel last night wouldn't work for me without the size of image or the breakneck sound. I have Lockout set up to watch just now, after watching the trailer on 21 Jump Street. And do not get me started on how cool the Star Wars movies look on this set up. Go on - indulge... I got a set up like this for a mate's wedding present last year and he was more impressed with that than...

I've had a chat with my newly refurbished arts and cinema centre that tends to show classic films now and again. It's fabulous with what they've done to the place as it used to be just an olde cinema that used to lose out to the multi-plex a few miles down the road. Now it is a state of the art place with HD DVD projection, 35mm tower projection, and satellite link-up with stage plays from Stratford, the BFI and other places. It's also an arts gallery too.
They've shown every James Bond film, The Italian Job, Spaghetti Westerns, and many more classics.
I've put it to them if they'd be interested in doing the Dalek films during November's Children In Need and to coincide with Dr.Who's 50th, saying that I'll supply a full-size Dalek and put on an exhibition of merchandise from the 1960's to up to date merchandise in the glass cases they supply for exhibits... and they're very interested. I even said that I can supply the original sized bill poster of the first film to go outside in their exterior 'now showing' lightbox. I'm still on the hunt for a decent sized one of the second film though, I've seen some on ebay but they're far too pricey. I whet their appetite as I said that the 50th will be singing from the trees and you'd be daft not to take a slice of the pie with the publicity and all for a good cause.
I'll keep you posted on any developments.

I don't know what to vote for. I hate the first one, and the second one I somewhat enjoyed, but it still does nothing for me
