Sorry that Ace bit is really retarded, I'll take my books, thank you.

And Liz dies on the moonbase, just the story Eternity Weeps happens a little more in the future. If not, cause I have not read that one since '96, all varriations from book to screen could be chalked up to the time war. But I don't accept this "books aren't canon" uncool. There's a 100 New Adventure references in the RTD era, which isn't a surprise since he got his start there with people like Mark Gatiss and Paul Cornell. And Boom Town talks about one of the 9th Doctor books flat out.

So to me, I'd rather see Ace living in France with the grandfather of Sorrenson from Curse of Fenric over her running some stupid charity somewhere.

Aha, I never noticed that being in the future, I'm dealing with another huge Doctor Who fan :-D
And yes, I also agree with the new books being Canon, purely because I loved 'Rok Ma' the Judoon companion lol, he was awesome. Yeah I suppose the Ace ending is a little dry, but at least we have an official one now, but I suppose your one is good :-D

I like talking to you lol, someone who know's their stuff. So who do you think the person who was last seen in 'The War Games' is, and the person with a new face, played by Suranne Jones?

I've wondered if it might be the War Chief but then I'm torn I love his ending in The New Adventures, Time Wyrm: Exodus.

And maybe it's Zoe, Suranne Jones looks a lot like Zoe!

It's Romana! Sorry but I have a theory.

She somehow escaped the Time War

And now she's back

Or it's a very stupid theory but maybe River is a Time Lady

I would love it to be Romana! And River being a Time Lady is not far fetched! There's Romana, Iris Wildtyme... whom I'm not a fan of but if she was River it would make River more cool!

Finally watched this! And I have to say the comment about his regenerations, he's so making that up. Given the situation and how he blurts it out, I'm sure that's nowhere near accurate. I don't think the limit has been retconed at all.

Ace died and came back to life! :D Actually the New Adventures followed what is called The Cartmel Master Plan, the original dirrection Andrew Cartmel was taking the show before it ended. If you notice, Commander Sorrenson in Curse of Fenric says "My Grandmother was British." he's touched by the Curse of Fenric cause Ace eneds up being his Grandmother. It's why her portrait is in Windsor Castle in Silver Nemisis, she ends up living in 18th Century France with a nobleman who also ends up being Sorenson's Grandfather.

"'A Time Lord can live forever, barring accidents' that came first the thirteen thing was the retcon" to quote RTD. People have got it stuck in their heads that 13 is the definite limit which is showing how stupid some Whovians are. Do you lot want the show to end in the next decade? He gives us an explination and nobody believes it. Some people...
