Don't worry, I wasn't gonna check this thread before it aired.

What a conclusion! Close to tears with Esther. :'(

Was Esther's death really necessary?

Just finished watching it, and... It was bloody brilliant! A very satisfying conclusion to the series. Why did Esther have to die? She was one of the more interesting new characters in the series! I actually cried when she was shot, when Gwen was reciting her speech and at the funeral... Seriously, why did it have to be so sad...? The cliffhangers were good - here's hoping for a series 5 soon! Hopefully next year, or in 2013... Rex's cliffhanger wasn't much though... It's obvious how it happened - he pumped Jacks blood into himself, so now the Miracle has reversed, lending him immortality, Jacks immortality. Simple.
Overall though, it's been a great series, and apart from some serious padding, and slightly dull bits, I'm really glad that we've got Torchwood back. It had better return!

Yeah, but there 'was nothing in the blood' As Jack said. His blood hadn't changed as far as he knew, so the miracle must have wanted something from it

It took the templete of Jack then gave it back and cos Rex also had that blood it sort of thought he was same and thats the way it should be, perhaps?

Its just a thought about the continuity, and that remember there is an alternative time line story, maybe all this series has been that alternative time line where the Miricle didn't happen. Just a thought.

I want to know why Oswald Danes didn't die as soon as death was restored as he was administered the lethal injection and had started to die when the miracle began, also, I quite liked her character... but, what was the relevance of Jilly Kitsinger? What did she add to the story?

That was 9 months before The Blood Line, it would have been flushed out of his system by then.
