Ok looking at this:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273975101350

and this which is potentially this item:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Doctor-Who-5 ... SwUAJdFnQL

Variant collectors could possibly breathe a sigh of relief as this could be a blue suit figure after all.
I've already emailed the second one and they were unable (unwilling?) to help as they had 10,000 ebay transactions going!!!
I'll email no. 1 now.

Thanks for all your input everyone.

I have a question regarding a capaldi tardis

I recently got one and the door button doesn’t click the door open,

Anyone know of anyway to fix?
You would have to take the screws off the base and see what its like under there. Watch for the door springs which will most likely ping off when you open it, so do it slowly. There may be some disassembly videos on youtube. If you're stuck attach some photos, I should be able to assist.
Thank you, I’m gonna give it a try this weekend

I’m not against cannibalising my tennant tardis to repair my capaldi one. Just as long as it looks ok after.

I actually have a general question, which bothers me a bit. It's in two parts;

1) Why does 3-6 have almost exactly the same hands?
2) Why is it that it's almost the same?

The pose is identical, and they look almost the same, but there are slight sculpt differences between them all, most notably the ring on Pertwee, but Colin has a gap in the fingers of his left hand, and there are other minor sculpt differences. So why would they bother to make new sculpts for each of them? It really doesn't make sense to me.

Al Dewar, if you are reading this, please give me a job/ all variants of all figures you have ever produced (delete as applicable).

3,4,5 and 8 are all designed to hold the same shaped sonic screwdriver, I guess that's going to make the pose very similar

Yes, I understand that, but what about the other hand? And why is the sculpt different? This is one of those things that my brain just doesn't understand.
