Tom sounds like a vicious man. I wouldn't like to meet him. Who's Tom to say?

Tom and Lis were a great team off and on the set. He was really upset when she died. He was horrible to Louise Jameson, but since then they have made up. :)

He was good friends with Lis Sladen and Ian Marter. After the two of them left he wasn't too happy, especially after he'd been given a shot by himself in The Deadly Assassin. Louise Jameson got it really badly from him, so did the K-9 prop. He was alright again by the time Mary Tamm was in the TARDIS, and with Lalla Ward it was a bit hit and miss. Sometimes they despised each other and other times they were madly in lvoe with each other. It's no suprise the marriage only lasted 18 months.

Tom Baker was Doctor Who, Doctor Who was Tom Baker. Tom cared a great deal for the show and thought it was his show. You got to remember he had been playing the Doctor for 7 years and was finding it hard to say goodbye to the role.

Doesn't mean he can treat others in a despicable manner.

Nick Courtney was the same, he saw him as a leftover from the Pertwee era that was no longer needed. After Tom left the show the two became good friends.

Tom Baker had a very big ego, it was his show and if you didn't give him that respect he would hate you forever, on the other hand if you did he would be the nicest man on the planet, exactly like his character in the show really.

That's a ridiculous attitude. A very flat personality, and I don't like the sound of that.

Lalla Ward, Janet Fielding and Matthew Waterhouse have said in Toms defense that it was the fact he was leaving after being int eh role for such a long time.

Mind you Lalla Ward could be very snobby.

Always been a bit lukewarm with Adric, never hated him or anything, but now i have utmost respect for Matthew and his character. Must have been a damn tough job to go to in the mornings.
