He had stated he didn't get on with the production team, maybe now as its all changed he could be persuaded. Maybe if the Cheque was big enough.
I think all existing Doctors should come back, especially Tom. Only chance they will get for such a special anniversary.

I dunno.
Tom just isn't the Doctor anymore, physically. Colin - no chance. Peter, with a hat could pull it off. Sly - nope. These guys are past it, and any use of them would be sheer nostalgia for it's own sake. They had their dance, and the song has changed it's beat.
I could accept David being in a story, but really, if they do a 50th Anniversary show, it should be an amazing story, not an excuse to wheel in old faces to remind us of a past that should remain there.

You want to see Tom as the Doctor, watch a 4th Doctor DVD from the 70s. He will never surpass that.

It's nothing to do with moeny. He refused a lot of money for a second series (it would have been enough to ensure he would never have to work again).

He put his morals ahead of his pay and good for him. It gets annoying seeing people who accuse him of doing it for other reasons.

Ah, no. Tennant was secured as Doctor 10. Chris was clear from day one that this was a one season gig.

Nonsense, Ecelston walked because some of the producers and directors were badly treating other members of the production team, it was nothing to do with the show itself or RTD, if it wasn't for those moral problems then there was nothing stopping him from signing him up for another series (indeed the BBC were wanting him to carry on in the role as was RTD, none of these Tennant conspiracy theories about him being signed up before Eccleston are true).

Chris had walked before the show started.
RTD had david do the voice over for the first Who show that pre-empted the first episode. David was probably actually working on Who before ep 1 aired. Either way Chris, from what I read at the time was only ever interested in one season. Afterwards he claimed that it was a good decision to only sign for one season, as the show dominated his life for a year.

DVD how would you feel about CGI previous Doctors taken from their previous stories in a similar way that Star Trek DS9 did.
