Because they would only be doing it to be PC and shut up all of the people who winge when the new Doctor is still a man, you'd also lose a massive chunk of the fan base who don't want this to happen so why jeopardise the shows future? Also lets face it; this would just be a publicity stunt for a show that's slipped back into being just another show as the novelty’s worn off since 2005.
But hey this is about opinions so why do you think we should have a female Doctor? How would it benefit the show?
