By posting in the forum you agree to be bound by the following rules:

Non Disclosure Agreement
No member will be permitted to use the forum as a platform to break Character Options' and BBC Worldwide's NDA/Embargo.
'Leaks' are not permitted. If you suspect that information or pictures are not officially sanctioned then it is best not to post it as it is likely to be an attempt to breach rule one.

Do not use rumours as a back door to announce 'leaks', use your common sense.

Permission
If you are under 18 you must ask your parents permission to be a member of this forum. No exceptions. This is YOUR responsibility.

Security
Never disclose your real identity eg name, address, phone number etc to anyone on the forum.
It is strongly recommended that you never agree to meet other members of the forum in the 'real world'.
If you wish to meet up with other Doctor Who fans look out for the official events and conventions etc organised by the BBC.

Cyber Bullying
Abuse or bullying of any member will not be tolerated. Report incidents to Moderators, the Administrator or the relevant authorities immediately. For more see our Cyber Bullying Policy.

Trading
To help safeguard the security of members, this forum should not under any circumstances and without exception be used as a platform to offer or engage in trading of Doctor Who or any other toys or items by means of exchange or barter.

Extremist Views
Political and religious opinions are permitted though any comments deemed extreme by the Moderation team will be deleted and members either warned or banned at the discretion of Moderators.

Personal issues
It is strongly recommended that personal problems are not discussed on the forum. Whilst general debate is fine, members are advised that should personal stuff be posted on the board, moderators have been instructed to remove it. Members are advised to seek help with any such issues with appropriate agencies/parents and guardians offline.

No Swearing

No 'Text Speak'

No Spamming Use the Promotions section for recommendations, charity events etc (but not other forums or random Dr Who sites). Avoid posting simply to increase your post count. We all know there are many good forums out there but please do not use this board to promote them either in threads, posts or signatures.

NEVER use the PM system to send Spam messages; this includes promoting forums and websites. Any member found breaking this rule will be permanently banned.

These rules apply to all sections of the forum as well as private messages.

Any member who is deemed by a Moderator to have broken a rule may be banned temporarily.

Persistent offenders and bullies will be banned permanently.

Respect the moderators. However, please be advised that moderators appointed here in no way represent doctorwhotoys.net - they are simply other members tasked with the responsibility of trying to ensure that these rules are followed.

Wherever possible all members should moderate their own posts; mistakes can always be corrected through editing your own posts.
