The low number on the production does not make it rare - it shows complete lack of confidence in that figure selling well, so basically, for rare list, read 'unpopular figures that we will release because we took time to develop them but feel that there is really no interest in them.' list.

And - all this kind of list really does is force people to push up prices needlessly. I saw a TC set at 200 quid on ebay - stupid. It cost about 25 quid up front, if that. Even houses don't mature nearly 1000% in a year. So if anyone is reading this and thinking of selling ay of these figures, please be fare to the buyer. It's the right thing to do.

That's a good question - as he can now be selling in excess of 50 quid on ebay. Ouch!!!!
It's not on the low numbers list. I think that all that first wave were created in equal numbers. If you push a collect and build you have to have an equal number of all the parts. It is possible that some people just want him now that he is part of his own set of three.

I've made two foolish decisions in my Doctor Who figure buying period. Firstly I got Captain Jack in coat instead of the Series 3 Tesco Set. Secondly I got Peter Davison instead of Colin Baker. If there's been any Classic Wave 1 figure (nearly) as widely available as Sea Devils in Liverpool it's Peter Davison. Surprisingly, I've only ever seen one or two Zygons.

I found a Colin Baker figure in tesco for something like £3.99. This was after about a year of searching for one. I'd all but given up on ever finding one when I saw this one, in fact there were two so I could choose the better painted one. I'm sure I read somewhere that in any case of classic wave one figures there was only one Colin figure. I don't know how many figures are in a case, though.

if you need Zygons then just go on play.com I bought mine off there for £4.99 same goes for sea devils. 5th doctors are popular in Old Kent Road Toys'Rus. Vocs are popular in London FP. But I've only ever seen 1 colin baker (whilst broke) in Hamleys. 4th doctors are quite high in number in FP and Toys r us though hard to find online.

what's scary is even hartnell and troughton are cheaper than him. Also I'd rather have real time than normal as it is much better looking. I need the K-1 part though
