Couldn't find a topic for it, so thought I might make one. I just bought this on Ebay for £32, hopefully will be worth it. :D What are your thoughts of this story?

YOU... WILL... LOVE THIS!

This is where everything in the New Adventures comes to a head... it closes up on hanging plot hooks from the final season of Classic Who and all through the Virgin New and Missing Adventures.

It even leads into the FOX TV Movie, paving the way for the McGann Doctor as the few novels before Lungbarrow have appearances by him anyway.

An awesome read and fantastic romp on Gallifrey! A look into the Doctor's family life and why he is the way he is.

Even a quote from this novel ends up being used in Girl in the Fire Place, as Madame de Pompadour peers into the Doctor's mind she quotes some of his Cousins from this novel.
Don't worry... it's the end but the moment has been prepared for... you can still find me bashing the New 52 and other things comic book related at www.ImWithGeek.com

I am sort of in the mood for this, as a while back I read Cats Cradle: Time's Crucible which with its main story wasn't that good, but did have interesting Galifrey parts, as well as even talking of Lungbarrow 5 years before the novel was wrote! :)

Lungbarrow's origins go back to Ghost Light, if you have the DVD watch the documentary as that story was suppose to be Lungbarrow
