Ooo! I'd never even heard of using an acrylic Medium.

I don't even know what that is! :)

(Is it obvious I've never been an art student?)

Come on, an acrylic medium is clearly a psychic that tells you when paint is nearby

No. An acrylic medium is just like an acrylic large, only a bit smaller.

They don't have classics though, only new.

I occasionally see parts for sale on eBay. I wonder if anyone sells 3D printed replacement parts? Shapeways and/or Thingiverse might be worth a check.

I got a 3.75" Skovox Blitzer from a car boot before and I want to make the unreleased red eyed variant. I have the paint ready, but can anybody recommend a type of brush thin enough to use? Those eyes are tiny.

Don't go to an art shop, but rather a model shop or a Games Workshop branch. Either of those will have thin brushes for fine detail.

Look for a '000' graded brush. It's small and narrow. I can only get these from an art shop but Warhammer shops have expanded their brush range recently.
