Lovely! That's one of the best pink Sixie vests I've seen.

The regeneration series continues...

The second incarnation of The Doctor - custom figure I made of him still wearing the first incarnation's outfit shortly after regenerating. The cloak/scarf piece is cunning photoshoppery because I'm not going to spend the kind of money that the "Unearthly Child" First Doctor figure commands just to get that single accessory. :P

And, yes, I am aware that "on-screen" during the first ever regeneration the Doctor either found time to quickly slip away and get changed into his new outfit or his clothes somehow regenerated with him - I chose to ignore that and create something in keeping with the pattern of all future regenerations.

Lovely work, Heir!

I'm kind of glad I didn't get obsessed with the regeneration figures, or I'd be frantically customizing the holes in my collection, and probably not doing a very good job.

Absolutely A1 work there! It's a pity they didn't release that with either the NOTD set or Other Doctor set!

That's absolutely lovely. How hard was it to file the beard off?

Thanking you all :)

The beard wasn't all that hard to remove - just some initial trimming with a craft knife and some clean up with a nailfile afterwards - it took less than an hour.

My current project has similarly required a rejuvenation of the donor head, but I haven't even started building a suitable body to go with it yet so you might be waiting a while to see that one - watch this space ;)
