Colony in Space

Postby Melkur » Sat Jul 16, 2011 11:26 am

Coming out on DVD on the 5th of October, most likely in 2 disc form. Really looking forward to seeing more of Roger Delgado's Master and his sinister repertoire!

The story itself marks the first time that the Doctor has travelled to another planet since his exile and an interesting note is that David Tennant was born on the same day episode 2 was broadcast.

Yup - 3rd Oct.
Got mine pre-ordered (well once my Dad reads his emails).

It's quite a good story, but don't expect too much from The Master. It's a very 70s show, as you will see - more so than a lot of others from that era.
With this, Day Of The DALEKS coming out in Sep', we only await Daemons, Death to The DALEKS, Mind Of Evil, Invasion of the Dinosaurs and Ambassadors of Death - 5 titles and that will be the complete collection of Third Doctor stories out on DVD.

Not the best story ever. Not bad though. Look out for a very young Helen Worth, better known for playing Gail whatever-her-name-is-these-days in Coronation street...
