I was so disapointed with the Silurians. Having the females having mamalian properties was very short sighted. The overall look was too streamlined. If you bring back a vilain - keep em as they should be - so we end up with this rubbish half siurian, half hum hybrid thing - do me a favor.

We don't know if those were indeed mamalian properties, it could potentially have bbeen anything. Isn't there a line in a Star Trek movie about not all aliens keeping their private bits in the same place? For all we know that "bump" could be something else by the same principle.

Yes Star Trek the Undiscovered country.

Not for one moment was i convinced by that tank. I think even the production team facepalmed after they saw it on screen. I must listen to the commentary to hear what they say in the moment it appears.

It is an important discussion to have, why do the Cwmtaff Silurians appear to have breasts if they are reptiles?

Because they used female actors and the production staff had the brains of siberian monkeys - so we end up with a totally wrong product. The BBC can be absolutely stupid at times.

I think for once that may genuinely be the answer. We don't know they are breasts. We haven't seen them after all. They are very heavily covered up so they could potentially be anything. Possibly a part of the armour. Or maybe it genuinely is an etheric beam locator.

Might as well be really  , it was just an accomodation of the actress in the end i'm sure. Although humans did evolve from reptiles, i know it took hundreds of millions of years but if evolution decided humans needed a sumptuous bosom then perhaps that particular branch of Homo-reptilia did. I never saw any eggs so maybe they gave birth to live young and needed 'magnificent quantities of lactic fluid'. Evolution can create the most spectacular things after all. Just look at the platypus.... a mammal that lays eggs!
