It should have been the SJA finale!
Loved all the refrences!
The lines; "Come along Smith." and "Smith and Jones." made me smile and refrences to Tegan, Ian, Barbara, Ace, Ben, Polly, Amy, Rory and Harry!

When she said Dorothy, did she mean Ace or Dodo?? Because Dorothy McShane was never a canon name?

Haha, I think he was joking when he said it, it went like this:

"Frantically crawling through a ventilation shaft, face to face.

Clyde: So can you change colour?

Doctor: I can be anything

Clyde: Cool. How many times can you change?

Doctor: 507"

Like I said, I don;t think it was serious, just a random number he came up with :-D

Depends on who said Dorothy. If Sarah Jane then a good chance it was Ace, if Jo I would go with Polly.

Polly? You mean Dodo?
And it was Sarah Jane who said Dorothy, but no-one knows what happened to Ace, and 'running a charity' is hardly something I can see Ace settling down to. It makes sense that it would be Dodo. She left because she thought she'd let the Doctor down, starting a massive, world-wide charity would make perfect sense for her.

As for Ace, I bet she's off on some distant world, fighting in the Dalek wars and kicking Dalekanium Ass! :-D

Ace lives in 18th Century France and Dodo (yeah I meant that, sorry) she was murdered when the reporter she got involved with got close to UNIT. The reason I said, Ace is cause the 7th Doctor does talk to Sarah Jane about her.

Taken from the books, 'Set Peice', 'Who Killed Kennedy' and 'Bullet Time'.

Yes, I like the novels and when I spot a blatant reference or something I can read into, I would rather do that.

Oh I know those, I saw them on their Wiki pages. But they're not canon, as confirmed this week when they said that Liz Shaw was on the Moonbase. In the books, Liz Shaw is killed by Yellow Fever, which is really disgusting. It turns Oxygen into Sulphuric Acid, even the Oxygen inside your body, which then melts you from the inside. In the book, she dies of that, but she's not dead now in the official canon, so I don't think the books can be considered real events any more.

When it comes to the TV series canon, I think she meant Dodo, because of the charity thing, and the fact that she says she only knows of the companions because she searched for them on-line. :-D

OK, I was wrong, just found this on Wikipedia, and someone else got it completely right, Ace is in-fact, in the OFFICIAL Canon, living on Earth and has founded a charity called 'A Charitable Earth - ACE

Awesome, Thank You RTD, you've finally answered the age-old question...What happened to Ace? :-D
