I got the torchwood gwen figure in TK Maxx for about a pound waaay back, that was an unexpected one, they had the weevils too, I kind of wish I'd indulged and gotten one of them, they were a cool looking thing.

I think I have all the Torchwood figures except from the Cyber woman and the Blowfish. They were on Ebay like dirt cheap so I whipped them up a few Christmases ago.

I just have Jack and Gwen, I'd be tempted to try and get Ianto and Toshiko, but the fact there's no Owen I think would annoy me more, like having most but not quite all of the team.

I remember the days when doctor who had more than one figure on the market.

I guess that would be... last summer? We had 10 of them all at once then.

With new moulds?

It is crazy how in the last 2 years, the only new moulded parts are:

Bills head
Jodie’s head, arms, coat/torso, and lower legs (maybe hands too)
Jodie’s sonic
10th Doctor’s tuxedo torso, arms and maybe the head, it’s atleast tweaked.
Series 9 Capaldi’s head, torso cover, boots and sonic

I mean, I’m not complaining, they did a fab job in reusing parts in bill and Jodie, works well and cut costs enough to give us the figures, but not even a 100% new figure since..2015? It is crazy. Although we do still have some exciting stuff confirmed for the next year; 3 new figures, 10 potential new variants/rereleases, a great rerelease and 9 tweaked for accuracy rereleases. And then a TARDIS for the new year.

I think Jodies's arms were reused from Martha. But we also got that little waistcoat tie pice that slots into the pertwee tie-hole to make into talons tom, that's like a little new bit, right?

I can't get excited over these - they should have been right first time (boots painted as trousers!). It is a bit of a slap in the face to all those who bought them in good faith first time round. I don't think everyone who bought first time will buy again, so we see a lot of peg-warmers that could in turn dent future orders.

To be fair, it was only really the Talons Four that was wrong the first time around.

Ah yes, right you are! Interesting how B&M sets now aren’t ruling out small moulded parts. Of course we got the bill head there too, but I believe that was due to amazon ordering an exclusive too.
