Easy Customs for Beginners?

I'm looking for any suggestions for some fairly basic customs - ideally with as little work as possible!

I'd love to have some brand new characters over outfit variations if anyone's got any ideas!

Tenth doctor in ghost gear with 3D glasses - just boil and pop the heads!

9th Doctor in any jumper - just paint the jumper!

Any Cyberleader - just paint the handlebars!

That's an interesting one, I'd never thought about it before. Maybe using the raggedy 11 might be easier as a base idk?

I believe if you just remove the jacket you'll end up with protruding shoulders?

Time Crash/Library 10 - Paint the shirt and tie of a blue suit 10 to a purple/burgundy and you're done. I've always wanted to do that.

An injured Two Doctors Sontaran would be super easy to do. Just get one of those green glue sticks and go to town.

Additionally, if you ever come across a super cheap 1st Doctor figure, cut off the right hand at the wrist, and you've got an instant Celestial Toymaker variant figure.

I forgot the easiest one of all. Turlough.

Literally just a James Lester Primeval figure that's been given a slight trim and a ginger makeover, plus an extra red stripe added to his tie.

It's actually such an easy and obvious custom to make, I'm honestly baffled as to why CO have never released an official one themselves.

The likeness is remarkably similar.

I think CO hasn't done it because it would still require a new headsculpt. Legally, I don't know if they can use one actor's likeness to represent another's. I mean, if they straight-up used a James Lester head, which actor would get the royalties on that?

But I could be wrong. Whatever the truth is, it is an easy custom. Not sure why I haven't done it, myself.

Well cut the wrist post off, don't want to cut the arm. Also given the Harry figure and new classic Sontaran figure they may well make a new headsculpt for Turlough if enough interest is shown even if the Lester figure's suit is inaccurate.
