Fur coat Second Doctor and Yeti?
I don't think we'll ever see the Yeti... it was rumoured a few years ago that the picture leak of the prototype had broken down negociations for the rights with the rights owners. :(

Quite looking forward to this, seems like a good lineup with a real focus on the popular elements that will always sell which bodes well for the future of these sets. I really hope that one of these TARDIS sets is the 5th Doctors, it's the one I've been waiting for since they announced the classic TARDIS toys all those years ago. These Dalek sets should sell well as you can never have too many Daleks however I think a Dalek 3 pack would sell even better as that would have so many army building collectors buying multiple sets.

I must say these sets will fair far better than that rumored companions three pack which would more than likely peg warm Lazlo style unless shipped in very limited quantities.

Do we have any idea of stock and distribution levels for these sets this time round, I'd hate for it to turn out like last year when everyone seemed to be hunting for the sets and struggled to find them, some like me not getting them at all. Made me miss the days of Forbidden Planet where I knew if I'd pre-order the set it would probably turn up, even if there were hiccups along the way.
Apparently a lot better this time :)
That's good to know. Maybe I'll try having a look again when these are eventually released. I gave up last time, my local B&M had actually stopped selling all DW related stuff. They were lumbered with a ton of Ninth Doctor sets, so at the time I guessed they thought there wasn't the demand for the figures  , I was gutted as I really wanted the Pertwee TARDIS.

So a BF employee confirmed that the Seventh Doctor Figure is “different”, so presumably not a variant of his tv costume.

My potential guesses for the Seven Set.

Seventh Doctor (We Are The Daleks) and Imperial Dalek

Alternatively it could be a completely random and newly designed Dalek, but basing the packs on specific episodes I think these are probably the best shout.

IIRC, someone in the design company CO employed to design the figure leaked it to the public while CO was negotiating the rights.

The right-holders' estates (Licoln and Heisman? sic?) saw this and said, "So, you already assumed we'd say yes? Well then the answer is NO!" They didn't understand exactly how "prototyping" works, and that CO wouldn't have even approached them before testing if a design was actually viable. The deal fell apart.

And, of course, fandom was blamed for sinking the deal by spreading the image around.

Which is like blaming the press when someone from the White House leaks one of Trump's crazy memos.

Surely the Yeti aren’t owned by someone other than the BBC? I thought the Daleks were the only ones that the BBC needed permission to use in any way. I know that the people who made K-9 have rights, but they’re kinda co-owned.

I'd love a NA style Seventh Doctor, especially if they're up for modding the shirt piece like the Talons Fourth Doctor.

Yeti are owned by their original writers (they also have some ownership over the Brigadier, hence the Lethbridge Stewart novels).

It could happen as on the cover of the Big Finish Seven, Chris and Roz Boxset, his VNA costume is depicted as literally being his tv cream suit without the jumper, and a smiley face badge on his lapel. In theory they would literally just have to give him a new shirt piece and a repaint.

EDIT: Should have just directed to my profile pic.

I’m not sure who made this but I saw this on eBay and instantly thought that this would be a great idea for a B&M set if they could mix and match the parts with very little adaptations on this occasion
