The Voice That Grates - Voice Demos
Hi there!
I have recently uploaded a voice demo for the Master (my own original incarnation), using a monologue from the War Master series from Big Finish:

Another day, another demo!
Another monologue of my own interpretation of the Master, using noise reduction settings on Audacity and experimenting with background music. Please take a listen, and tell me your thoughts/critiques

Re: The Voice That Grates - Voice Demos
By the way, guys, I'd love to hear what your thoughts are. Is there anything I can improve on? Anything not sitting right with you in regards to quality? I am planning to get myself a pop filter soon, and due to the size of my bedroom (very small), I have to record while lying on my bed.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

They sound pretty good to me, the second one is definitely the better one, much more clear.
I always respect people's voice work ever since I did some for a project on me and my friends Who related YouTube channel years ago. Suffice to say I was pretty rubbish, he on the other hand was really good. The limit of my vocal abilities is to do stereotypical accents like Welsh and Australian, among half a dozen others.

Another demo, this time trying out the voice of Davros, as I did many years ago. I feel I'm a little rusty, and hearing some parts, I definitely need a pop filter. If you wish to listen, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W3CMCjAx3Rg

Seriously, another demo? That's right: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Sd39_qxT30
Recorded late at night, hence the lack of actual screaming.

"You're just going to keep churning these out, huh?"
Until I run out of ideas, yes.

Messing with voice effects can be fun. Especially if they make you sound like you're on an old fashioned radio.
Or a BBC presenter in 1963. Hey, guess what?

A bit of news - I've been cast as Vislor Turlough in an upcoming fandub of the Tenth Doctor comic "The Forgotten"! Only a small role, but one I'm very excited about.
