We are fairly lucky In Swansea because there's a Toy R Us Store oozing with DR Who Goodies about 2 miles from my home , There are numerous Tesco's stores also selling Toys and of course a Forbidden planet store in Cardiff. I mainly order from Forbidden Planet London as they are the only ones that ships items out unlike our capital Cardiff  . Yes! I know what you mean when it come to having a real Tardis, I'd also do the same and stop myself from destroying my 1976 Tardis and tell myself that Mr Cyberman's gone bye, bye to put the Tardis down like a good boy, ruffle my hair and tell myself to keep all the packaging safe in the attic and there's 50p in it for you 8-) . Also I would also stop the BBC from Scrapping all the now lost Dr Who episodes of Hartnell &Troughton by de materialising my Tardis into the BBC's archive, creep stealth like into the store room at the time of the junking of all the classic episodes , Locate the fool who's about to scrap them, slip a mickey finn into his or her steaming mug of tea  then would make a quick exit into my Tardis whilst clicking my heels , screaming yippee  .

That would be great as I would love to see more Troughton episodes. I've only seen the Mind Robber, Tomb of the Cybermen, Seeds of Death, Dominators and War Games. Two/Three/Five Doctors as well. He's already my fourth favorite Doctor with only those to go on, behind Tom, John, & Matt. But Fourth Heir has a point, you'd need to go back in time, steal them and sell them in the present or else we never would've missed them. Hmn, maybe that's where they went- I could see a time traveller from the future being interested in Doctor Who.

Hi Magnusgreel! It's a pity that Most of Trougtons episodes are gone , especially the transformation Sequence from himself to Pertwee although I think part of that does scene still exsist as it was given to the folks Blue Peter in the 1960's to shown on one of it's DR who features and was kept and not scrapped like the final Troughton episode by the BBC containing this piece of Dr Who Gold :!: . I think over 108 episodes have been wiped by the BBC to date including some of the best episodes such as the appearance of the Abominable Snowmen " Filmed In the mountains of Snowdonia , Wales" , The Underwater Menace & the Macra Terror plus many more :( . Hopefully one day the BBC will either use CGI or more cartoon animation for missing episodes like they did for the Troughton story Invasion and bring back to life this classic episodes currently in stasis at the BBC archive :?: . Talking about the dangers of interferring with time , I say bugger to that :!: Firstly I'd do all what I said in my last message and more. I would attempt to save Dear Roder Delgardo from his untimely death on location in Greece by cancelling the comedy movie he was on location to shoot in 1973 which would then enable Pertwee to continue as the Dr for a couple of years more, then I would engineering Pertwee's heroic exit as Dr Who thus keeping the space time continum complete in order to lay the Way for his excellent character Worzle Gummage to be born hence opening the Door for the great man himself Tom Baker" Slightly later than anticipated" to become the fourth Dr thus stopping him playing that Dirty un Dr Who like priest roll in the TV series of the " life and times of a shedevil" in order to maintain the Who lineage upto the present Dr Matt Smith who would be starting his roll in about two years time, Give or take a year :ugeek:

I just watched the documentary on Roger Delgado on the Frontier in Space disk. Such a shame. I would've loved more episodes with him as the Master. He may have been typecast but can you blame casting agents? He played villains so well. Ainley was good, Simm was disappointing, but there's no topping Delgado. Cant' wait to get him in 5 inch form. I just realized. I can pretend he was the victim of his own tissue compression eliminator

Hi Magnusgreel! I recenly got the DR Who DVD boxset Mannequin Mania with a excellent Documentry about the later great Rodger Delgado which is worth obtaining for you collection. At present I've got every Dr Who DVD release with the exception of the Peter Davison release Frontios " Soon to be bought for my collection" and as usual finding it difficult to find space for my further editions but by hook or by crook i'll make space ;) . Oh Yes! a little mistake in my last message , It was the Hartnell/Troughton sequence that was lost and partly recovered after childrens program Blue peter found it in their archives not the Troughton/ Pertwee." Sorry, My Mistake   " Ironically recently I was trolling youtube checking out lost episodes of DR who & epsiodes that's been coloured by fans " Which is great by the way!" and came across the completed lost sequence. luckly back in the 60's someone had off air tape recording of the missing sequence , it's been recovered and has now been joined onto the part already known to exist and has now has been uploaded to youtube which is worth watching. The quality is not that great with the flickering of the TV screen recording compaired with the original BBC quality recording which is evident but it answers all the questions and is wonderful to view whatever format or condition :D .

Well after today's haul it's better to state what I'm missing over what I have...

I'm missing:

Dalek Collector's Set 1 (Dead Planet Dalek & Genesis of the Daleks Dalek)
Dalek Collector's Set 2
Don't worry... it's the end but the moment has been prepared for... you can still find me bashing the New 52 and other things comic book related at www.ImWithGeek.com

Hi MagnusGreel! Yes, It's happened to me when bidding for figures in the past but sometimes you've got to go a little crazy to secure the ones that you want! ;) Anyway, Here's a picture of some of the Timecrash UK 100 sets that I have in my collection + A Peter Davison signed Classic build it robot .

I'm jealous of everyone in the UK. Seems like there's a Who convention almost every week. It saddens me that I'll probably never get to meet any of the Doctors or companions in person. The closest I've come so far was getting Julian "Scaroth" Glover to sign his General Veers action figure at comic convention in may. Seems like the only time Who alumni come to the US it's to LA, which is so expensive I might as well fly to England.

Hi Magnusgreel! Yeah I know feel frustration and the catch 22 position you're in. You live in a location that has Sci fi shops but consentrates mainly on US/Can toys but has limited DR collectables, The events that do feature Dr toys are usually 1000+ miles away in places such as comic con in the West coast of the US and Events mainly in London, England and would cost a fortune to attend. I am fortunate in a way that I live about 40+ miles from the capital city Cardiff where they film DR Who so Any signed items can be obtained from folks who have access to the stars 8-) . Sometimes they film in my local city of Swansea where I've purchased items from local collectors who hang out at filming locations and Of course I've got a good eye for DR Collectables and I persist in my search for rare itmes ;) . As said in previous messages that I mainly get items from forbidden planet , Internet Auction sites and from other collectors. Out of interest :!: do you know anyone that can help you obtain certains figure in the UK :?: I should imagine the only problem would be posting of large or multiple items to Canada and the cost would be astronomical! As said before It's a pity that there isn't a Forbidden planet Canada and I know that they don't ship overseas which is odd really as there's a huge population and interest in British Sc Fi especially Dr Who in The states & Canada. Unfortunately you and others are at the mercy of toys dealers who sell figures at a premium prices. :(
